On Sunday (day after I arrived), after I slept in, we went for some good old fashioned New Zealand fish and chips and ate them where else but on the beach. As exciting as that is, it was really windy and pretty cold (not quite summer here yet!) so we didn't linger there too long. That and the seagulls were hovering (literally - HOVERING!!) over us - but only because some people were feeding them (DONT FEED THE WILDLIFE!!!!!).
Candice, Matt (behind us) and me on one of the dirty, dodgy rides. It was actually a lot of fun! Until we learned after that the carnival rides are owned by a white supremecy gang... things people should tell us BEFORE we spend $7 each!

Notice the mountains in the background!!! :)
